Julie Mitchell-Mehta acheived Chartered Marketer status in 2009. This status is awarded to members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) who have completed 35 hours of continuing professional development in two consecutive years. According to the CIM, "Our Chartered CPD Programme brings together our commitment to continuing professional development and our unique ability to award Chartered Marketer status. It recognises our members' commitment  to developing their skills and knowledge. Chartered Marketer Status is the mark of an up to date, experienced and qualified marketing professional."

Julie is featured in a new recipe book The Caledonian Kitchen, which includes recipes from Scottish Celebrities, top restaurants and others.
